I was lucky enough to be invited to cover the wonderful ‘Changing Faces / Creating Balance‘ Exhibition – formed using a large arrangement of Anglepoise lamps – for the University of Portsmouth. I had no idea prior to the exhibition that this iconic brand was based in our very own Portsmouth
What was (ahem) illuminating was the very different qualities of light that were displayed during the day and night, and the endless interesting lines and angles presented by the arrangement. There is a great video showing the setup of the installation – or it can be seen by visiting the Eldon Building on Winston Churchill Avenue.
I’ve seen many images from the installation, but I’ll add a few angles here that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
